Santa Claus will be in the lobby before each concert, so don't forget your wish list! Tickets, priced from $8 to $18, are available for purchase through www.utahsymphony.org or by calling (801) 355-2787.

Pink Martini is well-known for a culturally eclectic repertoire. The ensemble, known as Portland's "Little Orchestra," draws inspiration from music from the world over, fusing the genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop. Their multilingual vocalists sing in different languages including, but not limited to, English, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and French. It is easy to relate to their music, energy, and appeal. "The New York Times" said, "The sparkle of fantasy, even more than musicianship or internationalism, just might be the secret to Pink Martini's success."

The members of Pink Martini are Phil Baker (upright bass), Gavin Bondy (trumpet), Pansy Chang (Cello), Nicholas Crosa (violin), Brian Lavern Davis (congas, drums and percussion), Dan Faehnle (guitar), China Forbes (vocals), Storm Large (vocals), Thomas M. Lauderdale (piano), Timothy Nishimoto (vocals and percussion), Robert Taylor (trombone), and Anthony Jones (drums and percussion).
