TheatreSquared Announces 2019 Gala


TheatreSquared's signature annual celebration supporting education and access to remarkable live theatre will be held on November 14, 2019, at 6:00pm at the Fayetteville Town Center. The evening will feature a command cabaret performance by James Taylor Odom (Murder for Two at T2) and Elisabeth Evans (Once on Broadway and at T2), along with a three-course meal catered by Bordinos Restaurant and wines selected by sommelier François Guilloux. More than 400 guests are expected to attend. All proceeds support the company's education and access programs serving 30,000 Arkansans each year.

NJSO Performs Works By Beethoven And Mendelssohn, 4/20-22


The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Handel, April 20-22 in Newark and New Brunswick. British conductor and Baroque specialist Nicholas McGegan leads Suite No. 2 in D Major from Handel's Water Music, Mendelssohn's Fifth ("Reformation") Symphony and Beethoven's First Piano Concerto. Pianist Robert Levin joins the Orchestra for Beethoven's concerto; he also performs his own improvisations created from themes submitted by audience members.

Bouchardanse presents HISTOIRE D'AMOUR - Examining The Essence Of Love


BoucharDanse proudly presents HISTOIRE D'AMOUR, a dance theatre trio exploring the feeling of love through the ages. The show is directed by award-winning multidisciplinary artist Marie-Josee Chartier, performed by Sylvie Bouchard, Brendan Wyatt and Vincent Leblanc-Beaudoin, and is composed of vignettes created by top Canadian choreographers Julia Aplin, Susie Burpee, Louis-Martin Charest, Denise Fujiwara, Sylvie Bouchard and Louis Laberge-Cote. The production is part of the NextSteps Contemporary Dance Series, onstage from April 5 - 7, 2018 at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre, with performances in French and in English.

Lenny Henry will make his Donmar debut as Arturo Ui and is joined by Michael Pennington, who recently played the title role in King Lear at the Royal & Derngate Northampton, as Dogsborough. Producers Sonia Friedman and Scott Rudin announced today that Tony® Award nominee Tom Sturridge, Olivia Wilde in her Broadway debut, and Tony® Award winner Reed Birney will lead the cast of the Broadway Premiere of the new stage adaptation of George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984.  The trio, who will portray the novel's classic characters Winston Smith, Julia and O'Brien, respectively, will be joined by Wayne Duvall (Parsons), Carl Hendrick Louis (Martin), Nick Mills (Syme), Michael Potts (Charrington), and Cara Seymour (Mrs. Parsons).
