After studies at UC San Diego and American Conservatory Theater, Kym served as Assoc. Artistic Director for San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre. East West Players: ASSASSINS. La Jolla Playhouse: THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. San Diego Rep: BANDIDO! Lamb’s Players Theatre: THE SECRET GARDEN, South Pacific, BOOMERS, AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS. As a voiceover artist Kym can be heard in audiobooks, animation, podcasts, mobile games, and more. Favorite recent projects include Abominable (DreamWorks), Zombies, Run! (Six To Start), and How To Be An Earthling (Tinkercast).

East West Players has resumed LIVE performances with Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins (already opened). East West Players’ producing artistic director Snehal Desai directs the cast which includes Trance Thompson, Gedde Watanabe, Adam Kaokept, Joan Almedilla, Max Torrez, Christopher Chen, George Xavier, Astoncia Bhagat, Arvin Lee, Aric Martin, Kym Miller, Andrea Somera, Jalen Lum, Michael Cavinder and Maya Nahree McGowan. I had the chance to toss a few questions to Gedde, this enduring, steadily working actor, about his long relationship with East West and his various other acting gigs.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is proud to announce the cast and creative team for Spring 2020 production of the award-winning Broadway musical Assassins. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by John Weidman, Assassins will be directed by East West Players' Producing Artistic Director Snehal Desai, with musical direction by Marc Macalintal. Assassins begins performances on March 12th and runs through April 5th, 2020, with opening night on March 19, 2020.
