Just last night, ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS celebrated their 16th anniversary by honoring Elizabeth Matthews, CEO of ASCAP and actor, director, writer, producer, and philanthropist Ben Stiller at their annual gala hosted by Rosie O'Donnell at New York Marriott Marquis.

Celebrating the life and work of Ethyl Eichelberger with panelists, live performances and archival materials. The event, curated by Michal Gamily, is moderated by Miss Joan Marie Moossy; with panelists, Brian Belovitch, Joe E Jeffreys, John Kelly, Lori E Seid, Black-Eyed Susan, and Mark Russell; live performances by Black-Eyed Susan, Jennifer Miller, and Jeremy Halpern with Auntie Belle; and archival material from the La MaMa Archives.

Burning Coal Theatre Company will open its 17th season with the U.S. Premiere of The Heretic, a rollicking comedy by Richard Bean. The production will run September 12 - 29, 2013 at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Sunday, September 15 at 2 pm is our 'Pay What You Can' Day. That performance will also be Audio Described. Tickets are $25, $20 for seniors (65+) and $15 for students and active military. Divine stars Charles Busch and Julie Halston take a night off from their own show 'The Divine Sister' to visit the HOWL! ARTS PROJECT at Theater 80 in the East Village for a benefit performance of the TWEED Fractured Classick RAISINETS IN THE SUNSHINE. Also celebrating with the cast on Friday night were restaurateur Florent Morellet and a sold-out crowd of theatergoers.
