BIO
After graduating from Belmont University (Nashville) with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance Katie Johnston-Smith moved to Chicago to further study improv and sketch comedy. She now counts herself a proud grad of Second City's Conservatory and Musical Conservatory programs. Additionally, she is currently training at the iO Theatre (formerly Improv Olympic). You may recognize Katie from her stage performances in Attend the Tale of Danny Tanner: A Full House Musical (DJ Tanner/ co-writer/ producer), The Dude Abides: The Musical (Waitress/Pingirl), her appearances in Sarah Palin Explains America At You (Christina Aguilara, Leah Michelle), or as a featured player in Cupid Has A Heart On. This summer, Katie makes her first leap into film with featured roles in two indie flicks.
