David Mirvish announces that due to popular demand ANNIE THE MUSICAL will add one more week of performances, extending to June 3, 2018 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Performances for ANNIE THE MUSICAL begin April 24 and play through June 3, 2018. This new block of tickets will go on sale Saturday March 24, 2018.

From 15 January 2018 Ruby Stokes (13-years old from Hampshire) will be joined by Isobel Khan (11 years old from Wakefield) and Agatha Meehan (10 years old from York) who will share the title role of Annie. The kids cast will also welcome Molly May Gibson (11 years old from Kent), Hannah Hutchins (13 years old from Bromley) and Amelie Green (10 years old from London) who join the three teams of young performers who play the girls in Miss Hannigan's orphanage.

Last night (30 November 2017), the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Meera Syal who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre. Syal celebrated with friends and family, including Lolita Chakrabarti, Sean Foley, Nitin Ganatra, Twiggy and Leigh Lawson and Nicola Walker, as well as fellow cast members. Syal will play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Today, Michael Harrison and David Ian, producers of the West End production of Annie, have officially announced that from 27 November 2017, Meera Syal will join the Company to play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

According to Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye, actress and singer Meera Syal will be taking over the role of Miss Hannigan in the West End production of Annie. Syal is well known for her roles in Doctor Strange and Doctor Who. She was last seen in the West End in Romeo and Juliet (2016). Syal joins the cast from November 27 through February 18.

Last night (2 October 2017) the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Craig Revel Horwood, who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Today (4 August 2017) Michael Harrison and David Ian, Producers of the West End production of Annie announced that from 18 September to 26 November 2017, Craig Revel Horwood will join the West End Company to play the role of Miss Hannigan for 10 weeks. 

Miranda Hart plays Miss Hannigan with Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily in the West End production of Annie at the Piccadilly Theatre. The title role of Annie is shared by Madeleine Haynes, 13-years old from Hadley Wood, Barnet, Lola Moxom, 12-years old from Rochester, Kent and Ruby Stokes, 12-years old from Hampshire. Perhaps it's because I'm a Jew, bringing my two Jew daughters (age six) to a Christmas musical, or perhaps it's the fact that a strong majority of the Christmas songs presented in Broadway Christmas Wonderland were, in fact, written by Jews, however when sitting down to enjoy this show, it quickly becomes obvious that a person doesn't have to be a Christian or celebrate Christmas to enjoy this musical at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The cast is filled with unbelievably skilled dancers and singers, and the stage presence of all six of the leads is delightful and carried with strength.
