The Penny Seats are buzzing with anticipation as they prepare to bring the first show of their 2018 season, EDGES, written by Tony-Award and Golden Globe winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hanson, Dogfight, James and the Giant Peach, La La Land, The Greatest Showman), back to the site of its World Premier: The Kerrytown Concert House. Pasek and Paul wrote the show as students at the University of Michigan, and debuted it at the Concert House in 2005.

Now on stage at the Encore Theatre is the musical '9 to 5.' I'd love to invite you to enjoy seeing this show, but due to its overwhelming popularity, it's completely sold out. The only possible way to get tickets is if there are cancellations. This is a smash hit for Encore Theatre, and of course, everything they do is performed to perfection. Ann Arbor's Penny Seats Theatre Company is set to open its sixth summer season at West Park, performing outdoor professional theatre at movie-ticket prices, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout June and July.
