Joshua "Baba" Tavares

Joshua Tavares, or known by many of his colleagues and friends by his childhood nickname "Baba" (pronounced "Bubba") moved to New York in 2012 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Drama Performance from the University of Hawai'i. He trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and has been auditioning and working professionally as an actor, singer, dancer and model since his graduation from the program in 2013. Though his resume is primarily theatrical he has begun his crossover into the film, tv and commercial world. He was last seen in the second workshop of a brand new musical "Zuccotti Park" at the International New York Fringe Festival and he also has been cast in promo's/commercials for well known brands such as Bud Light, Budweiser, Lays and Bose to name a few.
