The Dooples are a friendly group of writing tools that live in the Land of Doo, and come to life at night. They enjoy many adventures and experiences, through which children empower themselves with their own imagination.

"The Dooples in the Land of Doo-the Musical", a new children's musical, has been named an official selection at the Fourth Annual Midwinter Short Play Festival-New York. Dr. Lynn Hunter, the Writer / Producer and Charles Mandracchia (Grand Hotel the Musical, South Pacific, NYCO, Valentino the Musical/composer), the Director / Composer /Set, have been collaborating for the past 2 years in order to create this motivational, live theatrical event for young children - in order to make learning fun.

The company of terrific actor/singers and talented artist includes: Stav Livne, Mary C. Baynard, Kristen Islas, Danny Smith, Joshua-Baba Tavares and Grace Bennett, Jonathan Hoard, Emmanuel Elpenord and Scott Gunner, Musical Direction by Mitch Marcus, Choreography by Teresa Anne Zolvolganau with additional Choreography by Mary C. Baynard & Grace Bennett. THE DOOPLES IN THE LAND OF DOO - THE MUSICAL will be performed on: Friday, Feb 28, 3:45-4:30 PM, Saturday, Mar 1, 1:00 - 1:45 PM and Sunday, March 2, 1:15 -2:00PM at The Roy Arias Theater, 300 West 43rd St (8th Ave), Stage II on the 4th floor.
