Central Florida Community Arts presents their 5th annual Summer Broadway Season production, Guys and Dolls, September 10 & 11, 2015. Based on the stories and characters of Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this concert-style production of Guys and Dolls is directed by Rob Lott, with music direction by Jacob Haines, assistant direction by Ashley Willsey, choreography by Katherine Rivera, and is produced by Joshua Vickery through CFCArts.

Directed by multi-Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell (Ragtime, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, and Oliver! at Drury Lane Theatre), the cast is led by Ivan Rutherford ('Jean Valjean' in over 2,000 performances of Les Miserables on Broadway, as well as in the 20th anniversary Broadway Revival and The National Tour of Les Miserables, and Titanic on Broadway); Jeff Award-winner Quentin Earl Darrington as 'Javert' (Ragtime on Broadway and at Drury Lane Theatre, Memphis: A New Musical on Broadway and The National Tours of The Lion King, The Color Purple, and Memphis: A New Musical); and Jennie Sophia as 'Fantine' (The National Tour of The Lincoln Center's South Pacific and Oliver! and The Sound of Music at Drury Lane Theatre).

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre presents the powerful nine-time Tony Award winning musical sensation LES MISERABLES for the first time ever in a dramatic conclusion to its 40th Anniversary Season. The epic production, featuring four Broadway performers in the cast, is now on stage in Beef & Boards' intimate atmosphere through Nov. 24.

I do not think it is out of line to say Les Miserables has been the most anticipated production on the Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre's 2013 lineup. Some hoping it would be great, others certain it would not be.

The performance from the cast of LES MISERABLES began with Hugh Jackman taking the stage to perform the new original song 'Suddenly' from Tom Hooper's adaptation, where he was then joined by Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne - as well as numerous members from the show's various productions - to perform the Act One Finale 'One Day More', while Anne Hathaway will sing a section of 'I Dreamed A Dream'.
