Watford Palace Theatre presents Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular. Joining the previously announced Terence Frisch (Sidney) and Jill McAusland (Jane) are Oliver Longstaff (Geoffrey), Emily Tucker (Eva), Sarah Quist (Marion) and Walter van Dyk (Ronald). The production, directed by Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Watford Palace Theatre Brigid Larmour, opened on 12 March, with previews from 7 March and runs until 30 March.

rtistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre, Brigid Larmour, today announces full casting for Jack and the Beanstalk. James Williams directs Miiya Alexandra (Liesel), Charlotte Clitherow (Fairy Fullobeans/Giant), Terence Frisch (Dame Trott), Oliver Longstaff (Jack Trott), Jill McAusland (Nightshade), Walter van Dyk (Herr Brush) and Marc Zayat (MooMoo). The production opens on 8 December, with previews from 5 December and runs until 5 January.

Watford Palace Theatre Announces Autumn Season


Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre, Brigid Larmour, today announces the Autumn Season with the centrepiece being the theatre's first produced Shakespeare in 10 years - Much Ado About Nothing with an all-female cast. Directed by Larmour, the production opens on 9 October with previews from 4 October and running until 27 October.

Casting Announced for THE MOOR at the Old Red Lion


Jill McAusland (Call the Midwife, BBC1; Pygmalion, English Speaking Theatre Frankfurt; Arms and the Man, Watford Palace Theatre), Oliver Britten (Walrus, The Vaults; Alice Adventures Underground, VAULT Festival; Back to the Future, Secret Cinema) and Jonny Magnanti (Three Winters, National Theatre; The Hound of the Baskervilles, Stables Theatre Hastings; Midsummer Night's Dream, Mercatoria Theatre Company) will form the cast for the world premiere of Catherine Lucie's The Moor, a tense psychological thriller set in a place where nothing is as it seems.

Robyn Keynes and Emma O'Mara are proud to announce the cast of Correspondence, a powerful new drama written by Lucinda Burnett and directed by Blythe Stewart. Correspondence is a bittersweet story of fledgling friendships and mental health set between Stockport and Syria on the brink of the Arab Spring, and plays at the Old Red Lion Theatre in March/April 2016. This production will coincide with the 5th Anniversary of the Syrian Revolution.
