THE BELLE OF AMHERST takes place through the current and past experiences of EMILY DICKINSON'S life from 1830-1886 and is set in her home in Amherst Massachusetts. The reclusive nineteenth-century poet EMILY DICKINSON recollects her past through her work, her diaries and letters, and a few encounters with significant people in her life. WILLIAM LUCE'S classic play shows both the pain and joy of Dickinson's secluded life.

'The Lady Swims Today' South Florida Premiere


Welcome to the Carney Hook Marina Motel, where three, desperate men are tempted to join the heist of a lifetime. It's summer, 1984, Eddie has a plan, and he needs a crew to pull it off. When these schemers and dreamers come up against three women with plans of their own, the course to a fortune is threatened by more than bad weather. The Lady Swims Today is a drama in the tradition of Key Largo and To Have And Have Not, with film noir shadows and flashes of comedy.

The limited Off-Broadway engagement of The Lady Swims Today concludes this Sunday, October 21. Robert Funaro ('The Sopranos') leads the cast of The Lady Swims Today, a new play by H.G. Brown, directed by Stephen Sunderlin at the TADA Theater (15 West 28 Street, between Broadway & Fifth Ave.) Also featured in the cast are Kelli K. Barnett, Vivienne Leheny, Jack Rodgerson, Rob Sheridan, Gordon Silva, and Kate Udall.
