Driven by the isolation of lockdown, UK-based producer and director Mira Kaushik and marketing consultant Ambika Kucheria conceived the idea of a virtual stage to bring inspirational stories and performances by the UK's leading South Asian dance artists to global audiences.
The first season of World Stages London, the first ever collaboration between London producing venues - bringing together 8 London theatres with 12 UK and international co-producers - closed on 23 June 2012.
