Caramoor officially opens its 2023 summer season on June 17 with a concert featuring vocalist Audra McDonald, alongside Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL).

 Caramoor – long a byword for the transformative power of live music coupled with spectacular open-air venues, intimate indoor spaces, and world-renowned artists – officially opens its 2023 summer season (June 17–Aug 18; grounds open June 4) with a very special concert featuring stellar vocalist Audra McDonald, with Orchestra of St. Luke’s (OSL) led by Andy Einhorn.

Building on its long history of presenting adventurous music from across the genre spectrum, Caramoor’s 2022 summer season celebrates music’s power to unite people, heal divisions, and inspire discovery.

Orpheus Productions will present three performances of a workshop presentation of Shakespeare's Criminal, a new chamber opera with music by Dustin Peters and libretto by Sky Gilbert, starring Marion Newman, Dion Mazerolle and Nathaniel Bacon, April 26-28, 2019 at Factory.

San Francisco's Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra led by Nicholas McGegan anchors a presentation of Handel's pastoral three-act opera Atalanta in the Venetian Theater (July 22); and New York's On Site Opera presents a fully staged site-specific production of Mozart's charming early opera The Secret Gardener (La finta giardiniera) in Caramoor's Sunken Garden (July 13). Superstar mezzo Susan Graham will also be on hand this summer for a season-closing concert of Handel and Mozart arias with the resident Orchestra of St. Luke's (July 29); Metropolitan Opera favorite Isabel Leonard gives an intimate Spanish recital with guitarist Sharon Isbin (June 28); and San Francisco's beloved all-male chorus Chanticleer celebrates its 40th anniversary season with a centuries-spanning concert (July 26). The festival's 73rd summer season (June 16–July 29) offers these operatic and vocal events and much more, all presented on Caramoor's historic and idyllic Westchester estate: 90 acres of picturesque Italianate architecture and gardens just one hour's drive from Manhattan.

The Handel and Haydn Society (H+H) and Artistic Director Harry Christophers have announced H+H's 2014-2015 Season-its 200th-featuring the Period Instrument Orchestra and Chorus performing works from the Baroque and Classical eras. Highlights include a collection of some of the greatest oratorios ever written, stellar guest artists, and two brilliant showcases for H+H Concertmaster Aisslinn Nosky. The season opens with a concert that commemorates H+H's first public program at Boston's King's Chapel on December 25, 1815.

The 49th season of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, which will run from November 2, 2014 through May 10, 2015, was announced today by Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director. Highlighting the season are the return of the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig, led by Riccardo Chailly and of Michael Tilson Thomasconducting the London Symphony Orchestra. The "Art of the Song" series returns in 2015 with recitals by four outstanding vocal artists. The 2014-2015 season also features a period-instrument chamber orchestra series, a recital series, and a film series, and includes pre- and post-concert discussions and lectures. A new series, "Complimentary Classical" will bring four compelling string quartets to the David Rubenstein Atrium in free concerts in 2015.

Performances are set for tonight, May 3, 2013 at 7:30pm and Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 3pm at Symphony Hall, 301 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, Mass.
