This spring, Theatrical Outfit proudly presents 110 in the Shade, the sizzling Broadway musical adaptation of the beloved classic play The Rainmaker by N. Richard Nash with music and lyrics from the duo behind The Fantasticks, Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones. Directed by Artistic Director Tom Key with musical direction by S. Renee Clark (Big Fish, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill) and choreography by Angela Harris, The Outfit's 110 in the Shade features a diverse ensemble of fifteen performers and concludes Theatrical Outfit's 2017- 2018 Season of Character.

Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant, and recently honored with the most Suzi Bass Awards for a musical in Atlanta (Miss Saigon), is pleased to present CABARET, by Joe Masteroff and John Kander and Fred Ebb. Directed by Brian Clowdus, the show opens on August 3rd and runs to August 27th. CABARET will be produced at The Open Air Room in Serenbe. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm (no performance on Thursday, September 29), and Sundays at 2:30pm.

Actor's Express closes its 2015-2016 season with the romantic comedy SIGNIFICANT OTHER by Joshua Harmon, running May 21 - June 19. The Express run of SIGNIFICANT OTHER is currently the only sanctioned production in the country aside from the play's acclaimed world premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City last summer. The theatre-going experience at Serenbe Playhouse is as exciting as anything I've ever seen. It's not the excitement manufactured by the tricks and effects of modern theatricality (not that I don't love those as well), but this is the type of excitement that you feel in your bones. The type of excitement that makes you forget that you are an adult watching other adults pretend. This is the type of excitement that makes you fall in love with live theatre.
