Dorian McCorey BIO
Dorian McCorey is from Chesapeake, VA, but has spent her most recent years in the beautiful state of North Carolina at Elon University.
At the prime age of 5, Dorian had been putting on performances in the living room for family, with the vacuum cleaner as a microphone. She knew then that performing was where her heart lied. She began singing in church and at local school productions. Entering high school, she knew that this passion was more than a hobby, but a lifetime pursuit. She then enrolled into The Governor's School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA, a state-funded magnet school which provided the foundation for her training.
From there, she was accepted into Elon University's BFA Music Theatre program and it has been a whirl-wind ever since. Some of her most recent productions have been Ragtime, Chicago, Hairspray, and Dreamgirls.
