Courtney Flores BIO

Courtney Flores is a Costume Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Flores is a member of Campo Santo, a Co-Founding Member of Bay Area Latino Theatre Artists Network, and an Advisory Committee Member of the Latinx Theatre Commons. In addition, Ms. Flores served as Lead Curator for La Esquinita, an online journal series on Howlround.com, profiling Latina/o Theatre Designers and Technicians. She holds an M.F.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.A from California State University Hayward.

Crowded Fire Theater Announces 2019 IGNITE FUND Recipients


Crowded Fire Theater (CFT), known as a vital home for new play development and production on the West Coast, announced Ard, Keiko Shimosato Carreiro, Everett Elton Bradman, Erin Gilley, and Ashley Smiley as the fourth year IGNITE FUND awardees. The IGNITE FUND awards $10,000 in total annually to support the growth of and enhance the working lives of Bay Area theater designers and technicians through a competitive grant process.

The Colorado Theatre Guild Announces 14th Annual Henry Award Nominations


The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a catered reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $50 at the door. Shotgun Players Presents KILL MOVE PARADISE

Latinx Theatre Commons Expands Definition Of American Play At Carnaval 2018: ConeXion!

In this juicy denunciation of the mainstream media machine, struggling writer Gamal hates the way his fellow Arab-Americans represent their culture on American media. It's easy enough to take out his frustration on literature superstar Mohsen and local mosque leader, Sheikh Alfani. But when his own girlfriend and novelist Noor gets an offer from a major publisher backed with a national media campaign, how will Gamal manage his frustration? Our Enemies runs October 28-November 20, 2016 at the Thick House (1695 18th Street, San Francisco) and performs Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. The Douglas Morrisson Theatre 2016-2017, 37th season launches with the regional premiere of Josefina Lopez's newly updated award-winning comedy Real Women Have Curves. DMT is tremendously excited to be presenting the regional premiere of Ms. Lopez's updated version, which first premiered at the Mission Cultural Center over 25 years ago in a production by El Teatro de la Esperanza.
