Colin Asercion BIO

COLIN ASERCION is a Filipino/Caucasian actor who made his Off-Broadway debut as 'Emilian' in Yangtze Repertory's ROMULUS THE GREAT.

Other projects include the independent feature THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA (dir. Mike Perrone), FBI (CBS), ROMEO & JULIET (The Sheen Center), THE HISTORY BOYS (Palm Beach Dramaworks), and the short films THE LAIR and MARA & THEO (dir. Tymon Brown). He has also appeared in multiple commercial campaigns.

Colin is a founding member of the ORANGE AVENUE PROJECT, an ethnographic collaborative arts initiative that seeks to create an everlasting archive of accounts and stories from those affected by the Pulse Tragedy. 

He has a BFA in Acting from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase and currently resides in Los Angeles.

Yangtze Repertory Theatre To Present ROMULUS THE GREAT


Yangtze Repertory Theatre (Chongren Fan, Artistic Director; Sally Shen, Executive Director) announces a new production of Romulus the Great, by Friedrich Durrenmatt, based on the translation by Gerhard Nellhaus, directed by Chongren Fan. With performances beginning on Thursday, June 7th at the TBG Theatre (312 West 36thStreet, 3F), Romulus The Great will celebrate it's opening night on Saturday, June 9, and will play through Saturday, June 23.

PBD Announces Casting for PICNIC, THE HISTORY BOYS, and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO THE NIGHT


Palm Beach Dramaworks is pleased to announce casting for its first three productions of the 2015-16 season, which will feature many familiar faces. Individual tickets for the entire season go on sale on Tuesday, September 8. The season opens at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre on October 9 with William Inge's Pulitzer Prize- winning Picnic, in which a group of women confront their loneliness when a handsome stranger drifts into their small Kansas town.
