In the summer of 2022, Canadian-based producers David Galpern and Charles Roy launched ArtsDistrict Brooklyn in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. But I’ve spoken to over a dozen people—some only on background because of potential legal implications—who allege they are owed money related to work they performed for the venue.

ArtsDistrict Brooklyn (a/k/a AD/BK) will feature the US premiere of “Limitless AI” by internationally-renowned artists Ferdi & Eylul Alici of Ouchhh Studio (Istanbul), creators of the award-winning 2018 global sensation, “Poetic AI,” which was seen by 1 million visitors at Atelier des Lumières in Paris. For AD/BK, the artist couple has reimagined and expanded their original work as “Limitless AI,” a 70-minute show, and for the first time, united the pieces with a narrative story consisting of five chapters, including “Poetic AI.”

Stage Raw is a community funded professional journalism website that was created in response to the decline of arts coverage in local mainstream and alternative media.The Awards ceremony was held Monday night, August 20, at Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, hosted by Coeurage Theatre Company, and co-directed by Jer Adrianne Lelliott, Thaddeus Shafer and Lauren Ludwig. Winners notated in red below.

Marlene Smith's production of BUDDY! THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY may be on hold until further notice. Tickets for the production, which was scheduled to play the Elgin Theatre, were set to go on sale on August 27th - but are not currently available according to Ticketmaster.

Nu Musical Productions (NuMu) announced today they will move their operations into the century-old Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre complex, and launch a new series of musical theatre presentations.
