Cassandra Dougherty is a graduate from Wagner College with a BA in theatre. Past roles include: Tick...Boom! (Susan), Significant Other (Vanessa), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ten Little Indians Soloist), Small Town Story (Lois),and Hair (White Boys Soloist). She is currently works as a contemporary and hip hop teacher in New Jersey.

This weekend, Dec. 1-3, the Wagner College Theatre will present Small Town Story in its Stage One studio theater, part of the WCT's New Works Agenda of dramatic works in progress. The musical, written by Brandon James Gwinn and Sammy Buck and directed by WCT professor Michele Pawk, will feature performances each night at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. All performances are free, with reservations suggested by calling 718-390-3259.

While in residence, Garcia will teach, offer workshops, and direct the world premiere of a new devised work of theatre titled NEW YORK LANDS. The show runs March 1 - March 6 in Wagner College's Stage One.
