The Repertory Collective confront the Banksters of Wall Street in the world premiere one-man play The Reckoning, Pecora For The Public written by Neil Thomas Proto, directed by Arne Zaslove and starring Bob DeDea. This new play for the '99%' immortalizes Italian-American Ferdinand Pecora's valiant effort to expose the malignant and deceptive practices of Wall Street's most elite financiers and bankers including JP Morgan Jr., based on actual transcripts from the 1933 United States Senate Banking Committee hearings to determine the root causes of the 1929 stock market crash. The World Premiere of 'Waiting for Pierrot' marks the end of a nearly ten year hiatus of commedia dell'arte artists Allison Latta and Noel Williams as they resurrect their beloved commedia dell'arte characters in a two person show that brings a refreshing twist of a classic tale of nothingness. Inspired by lawsuits, gender wars, and Rita Hayworth these two ladies create an evening of masks, improvisation, audience participation, and physicality that will leave their audience laughing, crying, and wondering why you aren't supposed to say vagina. 'Waiting for Pierrot' premieres at the Vittum Theatre, tonight, November 13th -28th, 2012.

The 2010 New York Clown Theatre Festival begins on September 3 with its traditional opening day parade from Union Square through the L line subway to Williamsburg, followed by an open-to-the-public pie fight at The Brick Theater. The festival closes on September 26 with the traditional closing day Funeral, with clowns weeping and wailing in the streets of Williamsburg. This year's festival will also present 5 different clown cabarets, including a cabaret devoted to clowns over 50, Short and Fatty's Half-Century Extravaganza.
