Brad Frey BIO

Brad Frey is a stage and musical director located, professional pianist, accompanist and keyboardist and a former educator with 39 years of service in public education. He is currently the Musical Director for Theatre Three’ “A Christmas Carol” in Pt. Jefferson, NY He is the former Choral and Theater Director at Roslyn High School, Roslyn Heights, NY and Director for the Royal Crown Players. His choruses have performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Avery Fisher Hall, Shea Stadium, the Nassau Coliseum, and the Tiles Center. His renowned vocal ensemble, the Chamber Singers, performed nationally and have received national awards. He has directed and musically directed over 300 performances. Along with his direction, he has penned three full-length musicals. "Whammy" (1988) which he wrote the score, "Tiananmen" (1996) , which depicted a historical account of the student massacre in Beijing in 1989 and "AirHeart" (2011) which romanticized the life and disappearance of Amelia Earhart. Brad holds degrees from both Columbia University and the University of Pittsburgh.

The Royal Crown Players of Roslyn High School are back at it again presenting their absurdity on wheels, the award winning and 'you are going to have a great time musical'- 'XANADU!' Reliving the 80's nostalgia of romantic comedies, legwarmers and roller disco...XANADU is a classic tale of boy meets girl, except that this girl is actually Greek muse 'Kira' performed by Kelly Frank, sent from the heavens to Venice Beach, California to help struggling artist, Sonny portrayed by Mark Russ to achieve his greatest dream, to open the first ROLLER DISCO! When Kira falls into forbidden love with this mortal, two of her jealous sisters, Melpomene (Bryn Goldstein) and Calliope (Jordan Resnick) take advantage of the situation with the other muses along with greedy real estate mogul, Danny Maguire performed by T. J. Sheppard and a host of other heavenly bodies to complete a recipe of chaos with abounding absurdity that will have you laughing and enjoying a carefree evening of entertainment of theater.
