Country music recording artist Ty Herndon and Pivotal Moments Media (PMM) have announced a new partnership that will span three projects, including the release of Herndon’s new album, JACOB. In addition, Herndon will become an ambassador for PMM and is set to launch a ten-episode podcast, entitled SOUNDBOARD, to accompany the album’s release.

DocFest / New York DocFest (docfestjazz.org) will have its inaugural New York Benefit Concert (matinee), hosted by The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. The full-length feature THE LAST GOSPEL OF THE PAGAN BABIES – a documentary about a 150 year old, gender-bending, sexual outlaw community in the American south – will be screened on Monday, April 16. AN EVENING WITH MICHAEL HORVICH AND HIS FILM ALZHEIMER'S: A LOVE STORY – a screening of Horvich's short documentary and a talk by the filmmaker will be presented on Tuesday, April 17.  Both events will be in The Broadway, Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway, Chicago.

The Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts has been transformed into Whoville this week as it welcomed Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS: THE MUSICAL to the Orlando area.
