Broadway star Tom Wopat is enjoying the Florida sunshine this week as he takes to the stage at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. Returning to the Royal Room for the first time since 2007, Tom Wopat first came to public attention in the late-1970s as the freewheeling Luke Duke on the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. In 1977, he made his Broadway debut in Cy Coleman's I Love My Wife. Wopat went on to perform in the Tony Award-winning City of Angels and Guys and Dolls. He received a Tony nomination for creating the role of Frank Butler in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, opposite Bernadette Peters. In 2008, Wopat returned to Broadway as Tom Hurley in A Catered Affair with Faith Prince and Harvey Fierstein. 2011 saw him again on Broadway starring as Frank Abagnale Sr. in the new adaptation of Catch Me If You Can.

Currently playing the role of Frank Abagnale in Broadway's Tony-nominated musical Catch Me If You Can, the Tony-nominated actor Tom Wopat is set to release his next solo album on August 9, 2011. The jazz album will be entitled 'Consider It Swung,' and features covers, original music, and even a song that was cut from Catch Me If You Can. It is produced by the LML Music Label with piano accompaniment by Tedd Firth, Peter Grant on the drums, David Finck on bass and Bob Malach on saxophone.

The Iridium gets bluesy this June, when North Mississippi Allstars, Robert Randolph, Elvin Bishop, and more all hit the historic Manhattan music destination.

The Mike Stern Band is set to play at the Iridium Jazz Club On April 7th and 8th with sets at 8pm and 10pm each night. The band features Mike Stern, Dennis Chambers, Tom Kennedy and Bob Malach.

From Friday, January 5th through Monday, January 8th at 8 PM, stage and TV star Tom Wopat is performing at the Metropolitan Room in his show 'Tom Wopat and the Lucky '07 Quartet.'

Backed by a superb combo, Wopat offered a Father's Day concert of show tunes, standards and a little humor.
