Heathers: The Musical is a rock musical with music, lyrics and book by Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy, based on the 1988 film of the same name written by Daniel Waters. While it is a high-energy black comedy, the show opens conversations about dark issues, including bullying, teen suicide, sexual assault, and violence in schools and now receives its first theatrical production in Brazil.

HEATHERS THE MUSICAL prende spunto dall'omonimo film del 1998 con Winona Ryder e Christian Slater ed e arrivato in Italia in questa school edition dopo il debutto del 2013 a Los Angeles e il successo dell'edizione Off-Broadway rimasta in scena per sei mesi al New Sound Stages sulla 42nd Street nel 2014. Dopo il debutto per tre serate lo scorso settembre, questa versione italiana del musical e andato in scena per una serata speciale il 28 marzo scorso al Teatro Marconi di Roma e il suo incasso e stato devoluto alla ANLAIDS per sostenere il programma di informazione sui rischi del contagio dell'AIDS nelle scuole.

La versione italiana 'Heathers The Musical - High School Edition' curata dalle accademie 'Professione Spettacolo' e 'Accademia Platafisica' sar interpretata dai giovani artisti delle stesse supportati da alcuni professionisti e sar la prima edizione rappresentata in Italia e in tutto il territorio europeo.
