Aven Courtney BIO

Aven Courtney is a young budding actor, dancer, model, who will be making his mark in the soon to be released featured film "A Thousand and One" He plays opposite of Teyanna Taylor and Will Catlett as Terry (13) directed by AV Rockwell and produced by Lena Waithe. Born and raised in Northern Virginia he began his career in dance, he is trained in all styles of hip hop and has performed at various events and underground battles at times being the youngest in the room. He has performed alongside artist such as Busy Bee, Nas, Aloe Blac, Dave East, Lun-Manuel Miranda and Blanco Brown. He has been featured in ad campaigns for Macy's, Finish line and Jordan Brand. He has also hosted several "How To" videos for Nickelodeon's Go Noodle. As his passion for entertainment grew, he slowly transitioned to acting where he earned his first acting role as Tye in the film Strive. He has continued to make huge leaps working with directors such as Boaz Yakin in Aviva, Matt Sohn and Robert Townsend Jr in his first television appearance on The Last OG as young Tre (Tracey Morgan) in season 3 episode 4 and 5. Aven is grateful for all that he has accomplished and looks forward to what the future has in store for him. Aven enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball and video games.

Little by Little, a nonprofit organization comprised of young performers from Broadway, TV and Dance communities is thrilled to have Miss Southeast Georgia Alyssa Beasley host De Novo on March 24th at the New York Creative Cultural Center, 7:30 p.m., in a benefit concert for Kevin TOKYO Inouye, a well-known dance choreographer who lost his home in a fire earlier this year.
