ROLEPLAY, a new short comedy written by Leo Layla Diaz and directed by Hannah Marie Pederson, is open through Saturday, February 24th as part of The Chain Theatre's 2023 Winter One-Act Festival.

Two Utah high school performers are on their way to New York City after winning the award for Best Actress and Best Actor in the eighth annual Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards held in the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City May ?12. Aria Critchley from East High School won for her role as Jane in "Tarzan" and Bennett Chew from Hillcrest won for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables"

The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Nominations were completely reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended October 31, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors.
