The musical brings the first direction by Ariane Mnouchkine outside the Theatre du Soleil and it reunites a list of twenty Brazilian actresses that take turns in diverse roles. The short season runs from July 5 to 28 at Teatro Anchieta (Sesc Consolacao).

The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced its lineup of new releases for the 2018 spring season, featuring Arnaud Desplechin's Ismael's Ghosts, Lucrecia Martel's Zama, Claire Denis's Let the Sunshine In, and an exclusive run of Hong Sang-soo's The Day After, all NYFF55 selections; plus Sophie Fiennes's intimate documentary Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami and Carla Simón's Summer 1993, winner of the Best First Feature Award at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival. Cornish Dance Theater, the performing ensemble of the Dance Department at Cornish College of the Arts, will feature choreography by Iyun Ashani Harrison, Jose Limon, Vivian Little, Michele Miller, and Amy O'Neal at its Fall 2014 Concert, which takes place at the Cornish Playhouse this weekend, Nov. 21 and 22. Many of the pieces, including one world premiere from Harrison, focus on issues relevant to the dancers and today's college students.
