Project Y Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of GREAT AGAIN, an evening of plays in two parts: The Test by Crystal Skillman (directed by Jessi D. This double bill of new plays was commissioned by Project Y Theatre Company, written as a response to the November 2016 election and presented as the centerpiece of the 2nd Annual Women in Theatre Festival dedicated to broadening opportunities for women playwrights. GREAT AGAIN runs through June 24 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres with opening set for Tuesday, June 6. Irish Repertory Theatre announced today an extension for Eugene O'Neill's THE EMPEROR JONES, which will now run through May 21. Directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (Shining City), and starring Obi Abili (Ivo van Hove's Antigone at BAM), THE EMPEROR JONES began performances on March 1, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, and officially opened on March 12, 2017.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces the 2016/17 winter lineup for LookOut, the company's multi-genre performance series featuring a diverse array of work from both emerging and established artists. LookOut programming takes place in Steppenwolf's 1700 Theatre, an 80-seat cabaret-style space connected to Steppenwolf's own Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks at 1700 N Halsted St. Guests can take drinks into the theater.
