Performance Network Theatre Presents THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, 11/11-12/26


Performance Network Theatre announces it's production of 'The Drowsy Chaperone' with book by Bob Martin and Don Mckeller and musics and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. The musical comedy, which recently received the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, will run November 11 through December 26, 2010. 'The Drowsy Chaperone' is directed by Carla Milarch (Little Shop of Horrors, The Baker's Wife, The Fantasticks) with Musical Direction by R. MacKenzie Lewis (Little Shop of Horrors, The Baker's Wife) and stars Naz Edwards, Scott Crownover, Phil Powers, Andrea Mellos, Mark Hammell, Matt Anderson, Eva Rosenwald, Linda Rabin Hammell, Brian Thibault, Lisa Lauren Smith, Charlie Sutherland, Pete Podolski and Phill Harmer.

The Famous Vampire story that haunts our hearts comes alive in a new musical form that restores the suspense and seduction of the classic novel to the stage. When Lucy falls ill with an unusual blood disease, Van Helsing is called in to try to save her. Will he be too late? Does this have anything to do with the mysterious stranger who recently moved to London?

Meadow Brook Theatre Holds Cabaret Benefit 5/8


Meadow Brook Theatre is excited to announce a Cabaret Benefit on May 8, 2010 at 9:00 pm. The cast of the current musical 'Breaking Up is Hard to do' will be in attendance singing songs from their personal repertoires creating a musical evening to remember. Admission is free to this event and donations are greatly appreciated.

Audiences will want to hum along to familiar tunes like 'Stupid Cupid,' 'Where the Boys Are' and 'Laughter in the Rain,' as well as the title song, during this comic revue of Neil Sedaka's songbook. Set in 1960 over Labor Day weekend, this is the story of what happens onstage and off at Esther's Paradise Resort in the Catskills.
