A company known for its rule-breaking choreography and impressive style, they continued to exceed expectations last Tuesday evening at a program honoring iconic composer Stephen Schwartz.

Parsons Dance - under the Artistic Direction of David Parsons -presented their yearly gala, honoring legendary Broadway composer and multiple award-winner Stephen Schwartz, featuring two pieces specially created for the evening.

Parsons Dance - under the Artistic Direction of David Parsons - is excited to announce that its annual gala will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, as part of the company's recently announced two-week return engagement to New York City's Joyce Theater. This year's gala, honoring legendary Broadway composer and multiple award-winner Stephen Schwartz, will feature two pieces specially created for the evening, in addition to the previously announced Joyce Theater programing.

Parsons Dance - under the Artistic Direction of David Parsons - is excited to come to the legendary Joyce Theater where it will perform a thrilling mixed bill program of world and company premieres from May 15-27. Parsons Dance 2013 New York Season opened at The Joyce this week to the delight of their audiences. The program includes repetoire favorites and two pieces making their New York City Premieres. The Parsons Dance Company will be performing at The Joyce through January 27th.

The company will also present a family matinee program that features kid-friendly Parsons Dance classics on Saturday, January 26 at 2pm. Both programs will include David Parsons' stroboscopic masterwork Caught. The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue (at 19th Street), NYC. Tickets range in price from $10-$59.
