The Tank will honor Stan Zimmerman with its Artist of the Year award at their annual gala on May 4. Zimmerman is a writer and director known for his work on Golden Girls and Gilmore Girls, as well as original plays including Right before I go., which made its Off-Broadway debut at The Tank before touring across America. Most recently, Right before I go. received a UK industry reading starring Vanessa Williams and Olly Alexander, and has been picked up by the Pleasance Theatre for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
