California Desert Chorale Brings Together FRIENDS IN SONG For A Glorious Fall Afternoon Of Music From Jazz To Opera To Broadway

California Desert Chorale's Friends in Song concert on Sunday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m, to feature Chorale members, interns and special guests in a stylistically varied program of vocal music featuring a rich variety of beautiful singing and marvelous performance. California Desert Chorale's Fall Friends In Song recital promises to be an entertaining program with terrific singers presenting a wide array of jazz standards (At Last, Perfidia & Cry Me A River), Broadway hits (Beauty and the Beast, The Bridges of Madison County, Nine & Dear Evan Hansen) and opera (Le Nozze di Figaro, Gianni Schicchi, Les Contes de Hoffman & Giulio Cesare).

The twelve singers will be accompanied by piano, violin, cello, flute and harp and the program promises something to delight everyone in attendance. The Sweethots, the Chorale's men's ensemble, will add their special touch of fun to the program, as well. Come out and enjoy an afternoon full of lovely musical offerings and share in the joy of Friends in Song!

There is a suggested donation of $20.00, but all levels of support will be graciously accepted. The recital will be held at the beautiful Kirkjan Family Hall of St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church.

This season, CDC is offering two discounts for its dedicated supporters. First, the "Build Your Own Subscription" program that entitles the buyer 5% off when purchasing season tickets.
