After years of traveling abroad, Avery Sutton brings his fiancée home to meet his Connecticut family only to find that nothing is as he remembered it; the house is tilted at a distinct angle, the dog has gone wild, his grandmother, who everyone said was dead, is still alive and kicking, and his elderly aunt innocently makes a living performing phone sex.
