From the company that brought A Christmas Carol to the Lyric Theatre, South Florida Dance Company welcomes you to our newest holiday theatrical production, A Spectacular Christmas!

Throughout the performance, we celebrate our most treasured holiday characters using the art of dance and storytelling with the season’s most memorable music. We set foot down memory lane as we reminisce what Christmas means to us all. We are most honored to share the true meaning of Christmas, and perhaps the greatest story ever told, with a beautiful rendition of the Nativity. The lobby will host the guest appearance from the man of the hour, Santa, where kids of all ages can share their holiday wishes, take pictures, and receive a special treat 45 min prior to each show start time!

Christmas and the holiday season are a time of joy, togetherness, and reflection, celebrated around the world with unique customs that blend faith, family, and festivity. It has become a cultural celebration embraced by people of many faiths and backgrounds.
It symbolizes hope and renewal as families gather to exchange gifts and communities come together for church services, charitable giving, tree lightings, and festive parades, all while our little ones eagerly await Santa’s arrival. In many cultures, this season extends beyond Christmas Day, encompassing Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s celebrations, and other winter festivals that honor light, family, and gratitude.

Above all, the holiday season is about connection—cherishing loved ones, sharing kindness, and finding joy in both giving and receiving. We wish a very Merry Christmas to kids from one to ninety-two and a New Year filled with blessings and hope.
