Winter Springs Performing Arts At The Stage Breaks The Spell With Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Magic takes place at Winter Springs Performing Arts as they gear up to perform their next musical production Disney's Beauty and the Beast playing August 3rd through August 5th. Performances are Friday, Saturday at 7pm and Saturday, Sunday at 2pm.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity

The cast includes youth actors ages 10-17 who have been developing their performance skills with Winter Springs Performing Arts education programs. WSPA veterans Sarah Mills- 17, Sophie Cooper-16 and Maddie Hull- 16 embody the giggly Silly Girls. Professional actor Dustin Batchelor- 17 portrays Beast with amazing skill and presence while new comer to WSPS Bradley Adams- 18 gives a new, beautiful voice to the villainous Gaston. Noel Marie, Head of Theatre at WSPA is directing this production along side Lindsey Stremicki as Choreographer and Kevin Kelly as Musical Director.
