Winter Park Playhouse Presents DAY IN HOLLYWOOD/NIGHT IN THE UKRAINE, Now thru 3/28

The Winter Park Playhouse continues its popular Mainstage Series of musicals with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine tonight, March 6-28, 2015.

This hit Broadway musical is a double feature that pays tribute to the 1930's Golden Age of Hollywood. The first act takes place in the lobby of Grauman's Chinese Theatre where six ushers sing and dance a musical tribute to screen stars and productions of that magical era. The second act delivers Grauman's feature attraction of the evening,

A Night In The Ukraine, a hilarious Marx Brothers musical film farce brought to life onstage.

Nationally acclaimed Groucho Marx impersonator, Roy Alan, leads the professional cast of eight in this production, which includes Bambi Fadoul (Ginger Rogers/Backwards in High Heels), Jamie Lowe, Bert Rodriguez, Lourelene Snedeker, Kasey Sollenberger, Jill Vanderoef, and Playhouse newcomer, Zach Nadolski.

Directed by Michael Edwards, choreographed by Roy Alan, and music directed by Christopher Leavy, this production will also feature the Playhouse Trio with Leavy on piano, Sam Forrest on percussion and Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments.
