The Republic Moves into New Orlando Warehouse
The Republic has found its home. Officially receiving keys to an 18,000 square-foot warehouse near downtown Orlando, this innovative immersive theater experience will soon begin building more than 25 elaborately themed spaces inside, each carefully designed to enhance the story.
Just one hour before The Republic's most recent rehearsal, performers were instructed to meet at a new location - a mysterious parking lot address. From there, The Republic creator Sarah Elger and engineer Phil Burgos led the group to a big surprise: a first look inside their new performance home, 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
The cast and crew then gathered for a group photo inside the warehouse, striking poses "in character" - though not in costume yet.
The Republic will now immediately begin preparations for a massive set build inside this warehouse, marking out the floor plan before beginning construction. Followers are encouraged to contribute via Kickstarter to support The Republic's creation.
