THE SPEAKEASY MURDER Celebrates 200 Performances In Orlando
Created by Emmy winner Erik Hastings and Broadway producer Gary Littman, the show heads west
The Speakeasy Murder & Other Acts of Prohibition is celebrating its 200th performance in Orlando, marking a milestone for the immersive dinner theater experience that opened in April 2025. Created by Erik Hastings and Gary Littman, the production combines live performance, audience interaction, and a three-course meal in a 1920s-inspired nightclub setting.
Set in a Prohibition-era environment, the production places audiences among characters including bootleggers, gangsters, and flappers as a murder mystery unfolds. Performers move throughout the space, offering guests the option to participate in solving the crime or observe the action. Each performance features audience voting that determines how the story concludes.
“The Speakeasy Murder isn't just another dinner show—It's a complete reinvention of the genre,” said Hastings. “We've taken what people expect from murder mystery theatre and elevated it into something far more immersive, polished and unforgettable.”
The production is presented by EG Murder Media and runs at Teatro Martini, located at 6400 Carrier Drive, Suite M, Orlando, Florida. Each performance includes a prix fixe meal, with optional cocktails and upgrades available.
The Speakeasy Murder is also scheduled to expand to Buena Park, California, with performances beginning in June. The Orlando engagement continues on an ongoing schedule.
