On September 1st, Orlando Fringe announced new leadership on their Executive Board of Directors. Kenny Howard of Florida Theatrical Association will serve as the President of the Board. Howard brings years of experience in the arts as well as many years of experience with Fringe. A resident of Orlando since 1994, and a graduate of UCF, he has produced and directed in the Fringe since 1998. He is the Education Director of Florida Theatrical Association, the non-profit presenting sponsors of the Broadway Series, in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami, as well as Artistic Director of The Abbey. Before the position of President, Howard served as Vice-President.

"I am extremely honored to serve as the Orlando Fringe Board's President.", said Howard. "My first show at Fringe was in 1998, and it has now become my theatre-family reunion every year. I was initially asked to be on the board as the "artist's perspective," and being on the board for the past four years has only made me appreciate the Festival as a whole even further." Looking to his term as President, Howard adds, "this is a perfect time to work on goals to set the Festival up for many years of success and to continue to find ways to improve upon both the artists' and the audience's Fringe experience."

Matthew Broffman, Director of Innovation with City of Orlando was elected to the Vice President/ President-Elect position. George Fender of Grennan Fender Hess and Poparad, LLP is now serving as the organizations' Treasurer while Dr. Cheryl Robinson of Valencia College takes on the role of Secretary.

Joyce Arbucias of The Imagination House has transitioned to the role of Immediate Past President, offering her insight and encouragement to the Board that she led for the past four years.

Orlando Fringe expressed their immense gratitude to Joyce for the time and dedication she had provided to help make Orlando Fringe the successful organization that it is.
