Even though the Orlando Ballet's official season has come to a close, the award-winning Orlando Ballet School (OBS) will present a special performance to showcase its top students. The Summer Fantasy VI performance is the culminating production for the most advanced students participating in the school's Summer Intensive program.

The performance will showcase new choreography and classical standards as performed by international and local students. Almost 200 students are enrolled in the Summer Intensive program, from Florida and throughout the U.S., as well as nine other countries, including Brazil, Greece, Japan and South Africa.

The public performance allows pre-professional dancers to display their dance education from the noted guest faculty, including Rasta Thomas, a former American Ballet Theatre principle dancer and founder of Bad Boys Dance; Jared Redick, former Boston Ballet soloist and New Haven Ballet artistic director, and Joseph Gatti, Boston Ballet soloist and Orlando Ballet School alumni. The show gives the Central Florida community a special opportunity to see the next generation of young dancers perform.
