Mad Cow Theatre Presents COCK, Now thru 7/20

Mad Cow Theatre is pleased to announce its upcoming run of Mike Bartlett's c*ckin the newly renamed Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre, from today, June 20 - July 20, 2014.

Cock is the complex story of what happens to John when he takes a break from the troubled relationship he has with his boyfriend. During this break he meets a woman who turns out to be more than just the best friend a gay man could hope for. Riddled with guilt and paralyzed with fear, John decides to straighten it all out once and for all. c*ckis a playful, candid look at one man's sexuality and the difficulties that arise when surprising new choices challenge the status quo.

The cast of c*ckfeatures Chris Crawford as John, Heather Leonardi (Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Mary's Wedding) as Woman, Peter Travis (Mass Appeal, Mrs. Warren's Profession) as Man and Rod Cathey (Twelve Angry Men) as Father.

Direction by Aradhana Tiwari (Other Desert Cities, Enchanted April and The Light in the Piazza).

Lighting design is by Michael Powers (Mad Cow debut), costume design by Leslye Menshouse (Hair), set design and painting by Rebecca Pancoast (Sweeney Todd, A Number, A Child's Christmas in Wales), and stage management by Jay Levy (Shipwrecked, Company, 12th Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival).

Cock runs from June 20 - July 20, 2014 in The Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre at Mad Cow Theatre, 54 West Church Street (Second Floor) in Downtown Orlando.

Preview Performances are June 18 & 19 at 8:00pm. All tickets are $10.00.

All regular performances begin at 8:00pm Thursday - Saturday, and 3:00pm on Sundays.

A special Pay What You Wish performance is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 at 8:00pm. A limited amount of advance tickets may be reserved for just $15.00. All remaining seats will be held for sale at the door on Pay What You Wish night where YOU get to name the price. Sales begin one hour before curtain, first come first served. Two tickets per order, please.

Talk Backs occur every Thursday and Sunday following the performance at no extra cost and are free to the public as well.

PRIDE Night is Friday, June 27 at 8:00pm. Members of the LGBTQ community and allies can purchase tickets at 15% off. Online use the discount code PRIDE or mention the code when purchasing tickets through the box office.
