Cole Porter New Musical Makes World Premiere At Winter Park Playhouse ImageThe Winter Park Playhouse continues its tradition of excellence for producing professional musical theatre with a World Premiere as its season opener - Gigolo: The New Cole Porter Revue. This exceptional new work was featured in the theatre's inaugural Florida Festival of New Musicals last summer, and now takes the stage for its first fully produced run July 27 - August 19. Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan will direct and choreograph, Christopher Leavy will music direct. The Playhouse Trio will accompany with Musical Director Christopher Leavy on piano, Sam Forrest on percussion and Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments.

"One of the missions of The Winter Park Playhouse is to keep musical theatre viable. Producing a brand new work on its way to New York, is very exciting, and helps nurture the art of musical theatre.
