CONQUER Pro Wrestling Combines Wrestling and Theatre in WE DON'T PLAY FIGHT
CONQUER Pro Wrestling invites Central Florida residents to "We Don't Play Fight," an original, first-time ever crossover of the arts between theater and live pro wrestling. The production creates a captivating entertainment experience through linking together acting and athleticism.
"Like any good story on the screen and stage, I want [people] to be entertained on the edge of their seats, and have them talking to the theatre world," said Jason Calabrese, President and Playwright of CONQUER Pro Wrestling.
The upcoming production of "We Don't Play Fight" premieres at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, inside the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, on June 23, 2018. Tickets start at $30.00 and the show begins at 8:00pm.
"This is a show unlike anything else you will see in Orlando," said Jason Skinner, director of "We Don't Play Fight." "The talent is great, the venue is gorgeous, and the story is captivating. No one who experiences this show ever regrets it," he added.
"We Don't Play Fight" tells a story of hope when a local theatre group and pro wrestling school join forces, raising money to save their shared practice and rehearsal space. A portion of the performance's proceeds will go directly to the kids of the BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation located in Downtown, Orlando.
