THEATRE DOWNTOWN presents Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNE PARK. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary (1989-2014) the Central Florida premiere of CLYBOURNE PARK -- winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize and 2012 Tony Award -- will be directed by Frank Hilgenberg. The show will play January 10 thru February 1, 2014.

Clybourne Park explodes in two outrageous acts set fifty years apart. Act One takes place in 1959, as nervous community leaders anxiously try to stop the sale of a home to a black family.

Act Two is set in the same house in the present day, as the now predominantly African-American neighborhood battles to hold its ground in the face of gentrification.

Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM; Sunday Matinees are: January 19 & 26 at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $22.00 Seniors/Students $18.00.
