Blue Man Group Announces Fourth Annual Drum-Off in Partnership with Florida Music Festival

Blue Man Group announced today that they are teaming up with Florida Music Festival to host the fourth annual drum-off on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 in downtown Orlando. Video submissions are open from Mar. 13 to Apr. 2, 2017.

To enter, drummers will need to create a video showing their creativity, technical ability and pure awesome drumming skills, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo with the hashtags #BlueManDrumOff and #Contest and then submit a link to the video. The Florida Music Festival 2017 Blue Man Group Drum-Off selection panel, comprised of Blue Man Group musicians and performers, will select 20 semi-finalists from the video submissions to perform live on Friday, April 21 at Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando. The panel will then select five finalists to perform live at the Wall Street Plaza Main Stage on the closing night of Florida Music Festival, Friday, April 22.

The winner of the Drum-Off will receive a prize package valued at over $5,000 and containing prizes from DW Drums, Vic Firth, Sabian and Blue Man Group.
