Bay Street Players to Present Cash & Friends, 5/25-27
Bay Street Players is hosting a special musical event May 25, 26, and 27 at the State Theatre in downtown Eustis. Cash & Friends is a tribute to the legendary music of Johnny Cash, June Carter, Patsy Cline and Waylon Jennings.
The powerful performances of Ben and Dana Marney recreate the sound and look of Johnny Cash’s famous tours to small theatres around the country. Live musicians and authentic costumes take us back to the era of these unforgettable artists as we share some of the history of their careers. Featured in this show is the show stopping, video enhanced presentation of Cash’s “Ragged Old Flag.”
This talented husband and wife team have been performing together around the world for over three decades. Most recently they finished a five year tour with the Disney Cruise Lines. They have been opening acts for Hank Williams, Jr., Johnny Paycheck and the Gatlin Brothers, as well as many other famous Country Western greats.
This special event will be held at the historic State Theatre located at 109 North Bay Street, Downtown Eustis. Curtain times are 8pm on Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26 and 2pm on Sunday, May 27. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students. Current season subscribers will receive a special two for one discount!
