Snap! Productions Presents Stacey Dinner-Levin's AUTISTIC LICENSE, Closes 3/27

SNAP! Productions is pleased to announce the mounting of a production of the nationally renown AUTISTIC LICENSE, by Stacey Dinner-Levin. Closing March 27, 2011, the play chronicles the struggles of a family dealing with a special needs child.

Autistic License is the autobiographical account of one family's journey to raise a son with autism. From the time that her child is diagnosed at age three, "Mom" leads us through the challenges and milestones of living with autism. An omnipresent interviewer acts not so much as a guide, but rather a sounding board, as she moves along this uncharted path. We learn from her experiences, the impact this disability has on her marriage, and family, while witnessing first hand the best and the worst of people who encounter her son in the outside world. As a result of living with disability, not only does the family come to a greater understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of this child, they also gain greater depths as individuals.

M. Michele Phillips will direct this revealing, passionate and funny play with the help of a brilliant cast that includes SNAP! veterans Echelle Childers, Michal Simpson, Matt Allen, Jerry Evert, David Mainelli, Therese Rennels, Emily J. Thompson and Gina Wagner.

The Autistic License production staff is just as stellar as the cast - Jessica Brumm-Larson (Stage Manager/Understudy), Brian Callaghan (Asst.Director/Lights/Sound),Tom Lowe (Producer),Liz Heim (Costume Design),Mark Cramer (Light/Sound Design),Connie Fowler (Properties Design) and Adam Nathan (Set Design).

Curtain times are 8:00 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 6:00 pm on Sundays. The Sunday, March 27th show will start at 2:00 pm. There will be a Tag Nite Out/Preview performance on Thursday, March 3,2011.
