Omaha Performing Arts Features JERSEY BOYS, FIDDLER, et al. in 2011-12 Season

From pop to classic to rock to wildly outrageous, the 2011-2012 Omaha Performing Arts-Broadway Across America season announced today has something for every theater taste. Season ticket packages for four memorable musicals at Omaha?s Orpheum Theater will go on sale Monday, March 7 at 10:00 a .m. online at: www.OmahaPerformingArts.org/SeasonTickets or by calling 402-345-0606. The balance of the Omaha Performing Arts? season with its numerous jazz, dance and popular entertainers will be announced later this spring.
The Broadway season kicks-off with the international award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. Winner of the 2006 Tony® Award for Best Musical, the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album and the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, JERSEY BOYS is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.
