Oklahoma City University's Bass School of Music presents Anastasia, its season-finale musical, April 24-26 featuring a full orchestra and cast of 31 on OCU's historic Kirkpatrick stage!
The romantic drama -- inspired by the animated film, with the stage adaptation debuting on Broadway in 2017 -- explores issues of love, family and identity after an enigmatic Anya arrives in Paris, discovering who she was and embracing who she is meant to be.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. A pre-show tea celebrating "grandmothers, granddaughters, queens and princesses" will be held 1 p.m. in the Bass Music Center Atrium.
Tickets to the musical ($20-36) and the celebration tea ($10) are available from www.okcu.edu/tickets or 405.208.5227. A free talk by director Karen Coe Miller will be held 30 minutes before curtain.
